Blue Bell
Blue Bell is a census-designated place (CDP) in Whitpain Township in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, in the United States. As of the 2000 census, its population was 6,395.
Blue Bell was originally known as Pigeontown, Pennsylvania, after the large flocks of the now-extinct passenger pigeons that once gathered there. The town was renamed in 1840 after the historically prominent Blue Bell Inn.
Blue Bell is known for its large executive-style homes, major business parks, small community shopping facilities, and small businesses. In July 2005, Money magazine ranked Blue Bell 14th on its list of the "100 Best Places to Live in the United States".
Designed by Famed Architect, Frank Lloyd Wright.

Beth Sholom Congregation
8231 Old York Road, Elkins Park, Pennsylvania

is a Conservative synagogue located in the Philadelphia
suburb of Elkins Park. Its building the only synagogue ever
designed by famed architect, Frank Lloyd Wright.
Beth Sholom is Hebrew for House of Peace.

The building is a startling, translucent, modernist evocation of a Mayan temple, transposed to a Philadelphia suburb by Frank Lloyd Wright, one of the few architects to work in the Mayan Revival architecture style.

In 2007, the building was named a National Historic Landmark because of "its significance in the history of American architecture. The glazed glass pyramidal tower,
built in the 1950s, reflects two dominant metaphors —
the tent and the mountain — to convey the sense of a collective sacredness. It is nationally significant as one of Wright's most important commissions during his long and productive career."

Gaya, Korean restaurant - o - housed under the same massive roof in the space once occupied by Johnny Cross Restaurant

Gaya, named after the gayageum, a popular Korean stringed instrument resembling a zither, is the largest Korean restaurant in the commonwealth.

The main dining room seats 125 and there are three private rooms suitable for smaller parties. The complex – that features the two restaurants. - Also houses a 300-seat banquet facility that can be subdivided into four smaller rooms for parties or business meetings of various sizes. There is ample parking for 200 cars in the lot.

"Korean food is not greasy," "It is more healthful. Cooking in our smokeless barbecue pit, all the fat goes down, leaving only the best part to eat.
"Our cuisine, which is sweet and spicy, goes back 5,000 years. Our cooking is an art."

Gaya is contemporary - cream walls, dark woods, highly polished marble floor, tables set with crossed American and South Korean flags.

Each table has a gas BBQ grill; special ducting and ventilation system built in minimize smoke in the dining room. Even with the meat sizzling on the grill, most of the smoke was sucked back down and vented outside.

Historic stonework with contemporary black-topped wooden tables are spotlighted and decorated with crossed American and Japanese flags. The stone fireplaces from Johnny Cross' remain.

General Lafayette Inn and Brewery
646 Germantown Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA 19444

Welcome to The historic General Lafayette Inn and Brewery will take you back to the days of the American Revolution. Built in the 1732 and frequented by a certain young French general during the Revolutionary War, this authentic Colonial tavern has since operated almost continuously as a hotel and restaurant and is now in its fourth century.

Ties to history are deep here — General Lafayette and his men successfully fought the Battle of Barren Hill nearby and the Inn was even used as headquarters by General William Smallwood and General William Hull during an encampment in 1778.

The Inn features both a bar area and more formal dining room, along with wood burning fireplaces, rustic wooden beams and excellent food. The menu features a blend of American comfort food and colonially-inspired pub fare. A few stand outs include Lager-steamed Mussels with chorizo and garlic, ale-marinated grilled pork chop and the charcuterie and cheese plate, which can be wisely paired with the beer sampler — six three oz. drafts.
The brewery and restaurant prides itself on using fresh, local ingredients from regional farms. the Brewmaster creates outstanding, international-style brews .
